How do I wipe out a Blackberry Curve's Data

My friend gave me his old Curve and I want to wipe all his info. I can't find a menu option in the settings that lets me do it. Please help!

This is straight forward. What your asking is for a factory reset, which will clear all data, and revert all settings to factory reset.
What you want to do is turn the device,
1-press on the application button
2-find the setting icon
3-options icon
4-Security options
5-General settings
here you will press the menu button and scroll down and select "wipe hand-held"
A message will pop and and have you confirm the wipe out. click on it to proceed.
Your friends data is bye bye.
