Hello,
My PSP 2001 will not turn on with or without a battery. I checked the power fuse and it had continuity, so I did not bridge it. I also replaced the power board (with the switch) but still nothing. What else do you think might be the problem? I have nearly given up on the motherboard and am now looking for a replacement (something cheap that has UMD issues or something), so any help regarding repairing mine is welcome.

Yeah, if you tried both the fuse and the Dc-Jack and even the power-switch, then the board would be your next (and definitely successful) step.
