Try it with another computer, (even if it doesn't have the Zune software installed it should at least say "device detected" and start to install drivers etc.). If the computer doesn't respond at all when you connect your Zune, you probably have an issue with your dock connector or logic board. If it does respond when connected when connected to another computer, try to reinstall zune software on your own computer.
