Step 5
Use the edge of the small flathead screwdriver to push the black plastic cylinder that is the right antenna hinge toward the center of the antenna.
Step 6
If you pull the antenna upward as you are pushing the cylinder inward, the right hinge will become dislodged.
Step 7
The spring will push the cylinder out abruptly as soon as it becomes released, be careful not to lose it.
Step 8
Now you have access to the two screws under the garmin antenna. Remove them using a Torx T4 screwdriver.
Step 9
Use the opening tool to pry apart the front and back of the Garmin Nuvi housing.
Step 10
Slide the opening tool toward the edge of the casing.
Step 11
Slide it around the edge toward the headphone jack.
Step 12
You should now be able to separate front and back.
Step 13
The front containing the Garmin Nuvi 660 screen should now fold open as shown in the image.
Step 14
Use the opening tool to carefully release the screen connector latch and the touch screen connector latch.
Step 15
Finally release the backlight connector latch and remove all ribbon cables. You should now be able to separate the front from the GPS body.
