My magellan roadmate 3000T is scrolling forward like crazy, then suddenly it stops and then starts again if i enter certain menus. I think a software update will fix it but I don't know where to download the software.

go to : https://www.magellangps.com/support/dow ... portID=394. Log in using your username and password. If the device is not already listed register the GPS as a new device (enter serial on the back). Download the software update (link is right below device name after registering device) unzip and start it. When you connect the GPS it will install the driver. Make sure the GPS is charged well and start the firmware update.
