Hi,
dropped this camera in a snowboarding trip and since then won't turn on. battery is good.
any info would be appreciated. thanks.

Dropped while snowboarding? That makes me think it may have gotten wet. If indeed it did - then you can attempt to take the backplate off and clean out any visible signs of corrosion. A soft plastic brush does the trick quite well. Still no response after that? You need a new logic board. There are guides that show you how to install it. If it didn't get wet and your battery is definitely charged - well then it's got to be the logic board.

Hi,
thanks for the reply...no it did get wet inside...where do i find the guide in installing the logic board...how much and where do i buy the logic board for this camera? again any info would be appreciated.

There is a Camera Repair guide that shows you at least how to take the backplate off and clean the affected areas. To take the entire motherboard out you have to open the remaining ribbon cable latches and screws. Make sure you discharge the flash capacitor bridging it with an insulated screwdriver, otherwise you'll get zapped.
