hi there, can somebody help me with my touch, i replaced the battery then after closing it i inserted the charger then it will lit and show the apple icon but afterwards it will turn off. I tried to open it again, while the back cover is not placed then inserted the charger, it charged up and boot up.....what seems to be the problem? tnx.

battery not connected properly or not working. it will show the same behavior is no battery is connected at all. measure your battery with a multimeter, make sure polarilty is correct and poperly connected, look at guides online and compare color code of wires.
