I had my itouch for a while and few months ago i noticed that the usb port is messed up. When i plug the cable in, it wont charge or recognize on the computer. It sometimes work when i place the wire in a certain way but its a little annoying.
What part do i have to buy, because i looked everywhere but i couldnt find the usb port part fot the itouch. Also can you tell me how to install the part also? thanks

Look into the port. Any pins that look misaligned or corroded? Scratch them or push them back in position with a needle.
If that's not the poroblem, most likely the soldering connection is loose. Open the iTouch and resolder the dock connector pins.
