I Pod Touch

Got it wet stopped working Did not submerse it, just got some water in it? Can it be opened? What do you recommend?

If the waterdamage is noticeable your warranty was voided by the incident and at this point your only hope would to repair it yourself or get it repaired by somebody else. You can use the iPod touch 2G repair guide (on portatronics.com/guide) to see how to open it. If you see visible corroded areas inside after opening it, try to brush off any residue that may interfere with the circuitry and do a hard reset (hold menu button and sleep/wake button for 5 sec). If it doesn't work after that procedure, you may need to replace the logic board which isn't easy but feasible.

I had the same issue. I left it under a heating lamp for 8 hours and let it sit overnight. It now comes on and I can synch OK, but the bottom portion of the screen is unresponsive.
