i re placed my dock connector today but cable #3 came out without me lefting the clip.. now when i put the phone back together the lcd doesnt come on.. What should i DO? what cable # corresponds to the lcd screen?

No, cable #3 is for the earspeaker and is completely independent of the screen. So the screen should work even if #3 is disconnected. Make sure the screen connector is snapped in and stays snapped in. Restart the iPhone using menu and powerbutton simulateously for 5 sec after reassembling.

thank you so much as soon as I held down both buttons it immediately asked me for power. so now I have it plugged to the charge. I will let you know how it goes after it gets juiced up a little.. hopefully the earpiece works, because if not then I will have to replace the clip that holds cable#3 down.. i'll keep my fingers crossed. ok everything but the earpiece works... so i need to replace the clip that hold down cable # 3.. any idea of what this is called so i can try and find it on ebay or something... thanks in advance...
