it's not showing up in itunes. it's not caused by iTunes, also tried on different computer and my usb-cord is working ok as is my usb ports.

you most likely have a broken logic board or dock connector, you can try to replace those components yourself, there are guides websites online that teach you how to do it, but you should have a little tech background otherwise you're gonna make it worse.

If you did a hard reset and it still doesn't connect, not even to windows explorer, you most likely have a broken logic board or dock connector.
